Kevin has been gone on a guys' golf weekend since Wednesday. It was so nice to have him back home today so he could make us this delicious meal and complete the picture at our family dinner table. (No, I did not eat all of those ribs on my plate, even though they were indeed delicious!)

Sunset on the lake in my backyard. I spent most of the day chillaxing in the water and soaking up the rays. What a peaceful end to a thoroughly relaxing day.

My hot beyotches. Tonight I took Heidi, Aimee, Lori, and Andrea out for an Oxford Pub Crawl to show them how we party in my neck of the woods. We started at my house, then went to dinner at Victoria's, over to the Tap for a shot (or two), across the street to The Ox for a blueberry martini, over to Casa Real for some margaritas, then on to Vic's 24th Street Tavern for some booty shaking! I was the DD and got all the ladies home to my house safe and sound where everyone crashed. What a fun and memorable night!! A whole lotta love!

My girlfriend, and Delphi co-worker, Laura brought her kids Amanda and Felix out to Hillary Beach today for a mini play date. So fun to catch up and hang out. I could get used to this staying at home thing.

Liam received his big eight-year-old gift today, a brand new bike from mom and dad! Specialized Hot Rock 20. He absolutely loved it!

Tonight took me to my friend and former Jabil co-worker, Kelly McKay's house (a.k.a. Buckingham Palace). I couldn't resist purchasing this bottle of wine from Trader Joe's. Our own personal Happiness Consultant!

I spent the first day of my "stay-cation" breaking down the garage sale and cleaning and organizing the garage. We took a Tahoe-load of donations to Goodwill and we can park our vehicles in the garage again. I'm hiding in the photo, can you find me?

Liam turned EIGHT today! He requested a dinner of Dorito nachos and vanilla cake with chocolate frosting, that Jordyn baked and decorated for him. That was her gift to him and it was delicious! Happy Birthday Liam!!

Kev sure knows how to reduce my stress level after a busy couple of days at work. He made pitcher after pitcher of these yummy strawberry daiquiris for me...and brought them to me as I relaxed on the deck in my chaise lounger. What a good husband!

We checked another Summer Family to-do item off of our list today by visiting Cook's Farm Dairy for some delicious ice cream. Jordyn and Liam both got Mint Chocolate Chip. Kevin got Chocolate Peanut Butter, I got Pistachio Almond, and Owen went with Blue "Moo". MMM mmm
