Day 365 - Thursday, December 31, 2009 – We rang in the new decade at the Parsons' along with the Hummels and the Scepkas. It was a fun, late night and 2010 is sure to be filled with many more similar gatherings. As a matter of fact, the next two have already been planned!

Day 356 - Tuesday, December 22, 2009 – Tonight was my last theater night of the 2008-2009 Fisher Theater season. We saw Jersey Boys (which was FABULOUS) and I captured a shot of this angel towards the ceiling of the Fisher Building.

Day 335 - Tuesday, December 1, 2009 – Today was the first day of our countdown to Christmas calendar events. Today's event was for Owen to select a Christmas book to read. He chose Beauty and the Beast Christmas and he also chose Elmo Saves Christmas (yes, I let him pick two books...he's the baby, what can I say?)

Day 333 - Sunday, November 29, 2009 – Today we celebrated Thanksgiving with my side of the family at the Spry's house. Shawn and I are definitely carnivores as we each dig into a drumstick! (not really, but it made for a fun photo op!) We missed my parents, though, as they were down at their home in Florida.

Day 331 - Friday, November 27, 2009 – One of my favorite Thanksgiving traditions is going shopping with Jordyn on black Friday. This year, we got up at 2:45 am and we were back home by 7:30 am. We got 80% of the Christmas shopping done in a few hours with huge discounts. Gotta love that!

A last minute Tigers game with Kimberly and Denise (and Brandy who showed up later) was a welcomed break from the stress of every day life. Nothing like a mid-week girls' night out in the D to lift a person's spirits!! And, to top it all off, Ernie Harwell spoke during the 3rd inning and the Tigers pulled out a W.

I spent more than 8 hours gardening today! I had an enormous amount of plants that my friend Colleen had divided from her garden and dropped off at my house. I was in awe at all of the stuff she brought me. I was expecting a couple of pots, but she brought me an entire car load full of plant material!! Black Eyed Susans, Phlox, Sedum, Purple Coneflower, you name it, she brought it!

Today was the 2nd annual Gilbert Weber Memorial golf outing at Devil's Ridge to benefit MS. Our partners again this year were the Petoskeys. We finished at two under, which is a decent score for us but couldn't touch the winning score of 14 under!!

The Burnzi's Hood, was the third place team in the league after regular season play. Tonight was the playoff tournament to determine the overall league winner. And, well, we ended in third place. We had hoped to win the playoffs, but then again, doesn't everyone?

My hot beyotches. Tonight I took Heidi, Aimee, Lori, and Andrea out for an Oxford Pub Crawl to show them how we party in my neck of the woods. We started at my house, then went to dinner at Victoria's, over to the Tap for a shot (or two), across the street to The Ox for a blueberry martini, over to Casa Real for some margaritas, then on to Vic's 24th Street Tavern for some booty shaking! I was the DD and got all the ladies home to my house safe and sound where everyone crashed. What a fun and memorable night!! A whole lotta love!

My girlfriend, and Delphi co-worker, Laura brought her kids Amanda and Felix out to Hillary Beach today for a mini play date. So fun to catch up and hang out. I could get used to this staying at home thing.

I spent the first day of my "stay-cation" breaking down the garage sale and cleaning and organizing the garage. We took a Tahoe-load of donations to Goodwill and we can park our vehicles in the garage again. I'm hiding in the photo, can you find me?
