Day 318 - Saturday, November 14, 2009 – Today I was up before anyone else in the house (a rare occurrence) to exercise before kicking off the full day's events that we had planned. The house was so peaceful and the sunrise was just gorgeous. A wonderful way to spend a morning.

Kev and I went to WoJo's today to pick up my Mother's Day present. This lovely magnolia tree, not currently in bloom. But, I can't wait for it to bloom next Spring!! Have I mentioned how much joy flowers and gardening bring me?

I just LOVE Spring flowers. Here is the phlox I planted in my boulder retaining wall last year. Spring flowers just give me chills, especially when they come back so beautifully.

I'm not sure what kind of bush I planted in our front yard, but this is the first year that I've noticed its pretty pink spring flowers. I **heart** spring flowers!

Day 114 - Friday, April 24, 2009 –
Nothing says Spring quite like blooming daffodils. I heart daffodils. This is the first year for our daffodils to bloom at the new house, since I just planted bulbs last fall. Daffodils make me happy.

Today we went to dinner at my sister’s house, where they discovered these duck eggs had been lain in one of their flower pots, up on the deck, next to the hot tub!! Unfortunately, we think the eggs have been abandoned and the ducklings are goners.
